Silver Lake Mall Opening Huge Success

Black Sheep Mall celebrates opening

Dave Knoll, his son Brian and their team

of dedicated associates couldn’t have been more pleased! Their hard work paid off! Despite some occasional rain, such weather did not stop thousands of people flocking to the grand opening of Silver Lake Mall from Friday through Sunday of last week. Dozens of vendors filled the mall, from Vortex

to Grunt Style. Energy and excitement perco- lated through the air. Kids happily bounced

in bounce houses, a parade of fashionable

ladies dressed in col- orful dresses and hats, marched through the mall, and young women walking on stilts waving butterfly wings captured the crowd’s attention. Outside there were bands belting out con- temporary and classic tunes, and more vendors showing off their goods and services. Kabul 13 calendars displayed large 4 by 6 sized posters of the Kabul 13 soldiers produced by local artist of heroes, Alan Golub, who eagerly spoke to those who stopped by Kabul 13’s booth. Local

children’s author, Annie Winston, gave away cop- ies of her latest Bully Buster book to kids who were thrilled to meet

an author and receive a signed book.

Dave Knoll comment- ed , “ The weekend was a huge success. It exceeded our expectations! We want to thank everyone who came out to support us ! It’s our honor and privilege to serve the community by offering a new and improved Silver Lake Mall. We’ve got big plans in the works for the future! Stay Tuned!”
